History
Plastering Contractors Stanmore Ltd was established by Leo Tuohey in 1958 with a main office in Stanmore, Middlesex and two regional offices. Leo was succeeded by David Complin and Martin Flannagan and they, in turn, were succeeded by Don Leavey and Chris Brown who, for many years, enjoyed joint ownership of the Company.
Rajbir Singh Manak, the current owner, became Managing Director in 2000 upon the retirement of Chris Brown. The continued evolution of PCSL has seen new procedures put in place to enable us to provide our clients with the best possible service. Steady and continuous progression demanded larger premises, more staff and dedication. To achieve these targets we moved from Welling to our new office in Erith.
Since 2000, we have enjoyed continued annual growth and won the "Megagrowth Award 2006" for the fastest growing Company in Kent and Medway. Extracts from the Award's report read:
"…commitment to training has yielded high staff retention rates virtually unparalleled in the construction industry. The Company works with leading house builders, plastering houses, flats and commercial property across the county, the region, and London. Its performance is widely recognised and is ranked first in an annual analysis of plastering contractors."
